  5. Floor Planning provides accurate records on serialized items, their locations,
  6. dates received and sold, and vendor's supplying them. This module also assists
  7. companies who finance inventory through programs from a credit agency or a
  8. manufacturer. There are several methods for adding serial number data for items
  9. in inventory. It may be entered when receiving serialized items against a
  10. purchase order or against an existing receiving number. It has an inventory
  11. item/serial number search function. It records receiving number, date received,
  12. purchase order number and vendor; maintains unit cost and freight amount; flags
  13. items subject to floor checks; updates items from vendor's invoice; and purges
  14. sold items by date. This module requires both Integrated Accounting and the
  15. Purchase Order module.
